What's that sentiment? You know the one about time flying? faster than a speeding bullet? Seems to me any of these would be quite fitting in a case like this.
I remember dressing that tiny Wonder Woman. I remember her bald head and her chubby cheeks and her brilliant blue eyes! It WAS yesterday when I snuggled her in Mom and Dad's rocking chair, nursing her silently to sleep.
I just know it was!
AND YET, I stared directly in her eyes today ,she claims to stand a full inch taller than me but I don't believe it. I picked her up in front of her HIGH SCHOOL at 2:10 after she had texted me from her cell phone. Standing at the tennis courts with her incredibly long legs, long highlighted hair and still those brilliant blue eyes accented by mascara and a shimmery brown eye shadow! The realization hit me like a ton of bricks, a glove full of kryptonite, time has flown and my little Wonder Woman is really growing up.
She IS a Wonderful Young WOMAN and I am so proud!
