We got the annual "Free Pumpkin" gift certificates from school and the kids and I ran over to Day's. They both insisted on choosing the very, very largest of the pumpkins to bring home and were equally thrilled when the scale at check-out couldn't register their pumpkins weight because they were too big!

Miley Cyrus Concert

I surprised the girls with tickets to the Miley Cyrus Concert! I had been sitting on them for Months! Lexis could not have been more excited! Really we all were. We drove up to Salt Lake on Tuesday right after school got out. Gracie inherited the "President of the Miley Cyrus Fan Club" t-shirt and wore it proudly. We met my highschool friend, Lisa, and her two daughters for a yummy dinner at Thaifoon. The younger girls tried calamari for the first time and liked it. Lisa had called me about the tickets going on sale and so the two of us had gotten on the ticket site the day they came available and snagged ours. There were a crazy number of young girls and their mothers wandering that part of Salt Lake. Lisa and her girls ended up sitting just a few rows below us. Miley's brother's rocker band played first and Lexis was thrilled. She stood the entire concert, singing and dancing. I loved seeing her free spirit. There was a young girl seated next to me with her Mom who spent a vast majority of the time watching Lexis and emulating her dance moves. Really adorable! We had great seats and Miley definitely puts on a fantastic show. At one point she ran off the stage, sick but came back only to be suspended in the air, flying over the crowd during her 'bug(?)' song. It really was a fun night and such a great time spent with mywonderful daughters!

Pay attention to Miley's dance move at the end of this video...She TOTALLY got that one from Lexis!

Noah plays at the REAL Soccer Field! and Lexis and Carly watch... a little!

Noah's Club Soccer team were invited to play before the Salt Lake Real teams game this Saturday. Noah was very excited about the big opportunity but Michael Ethan was not as much. Noah ended up riding up with Monson and Bowie to the game in Salt Lake and Lexis and her friend, Carly hitched a ride as well. I handed Lexis my camera at the last minute asking her to take pictures of Noah playing and the above is what I got back...
