Christmas Morning

Such a wonderful Christmas! We enjoyed having the WHOLE family at our house this year! It was really fantastic! Christmas morning was all kinds of fun. Grandma surprised my kids with a Wii! Noah hugged his Vans from Santa Claus, Michael loved his book from Uncle Flynn and Aunt Krista, Lexis modeled all her new and fabulous clothes and Grace smiled and smiled and smiled! Now we are off to Sundance for a week in fantastic cabin! Merry Christmas!

Without a doubt THE BEST TRIP we have ever taken together as family!

The fireplace in our new house gets a make-over and I think it turned out wonderfully!
It started out with this terribly 60's orange brick that had three 'shelves' jutting out of it in random places. I drew up a plan of attack and Michael took the shelves off, framed around it and then I plastered, painted, stained and added a temporary mantel above.
