YAY! for the Jackson family being in Utah for the SUMMER!!

So... blogger has a new iphone ap! Yay! Now I have one more way to easily update our Family Blog.  Spell check is still not an option but keeping this journal better up to date is.  Now I just need to keep on it.

Oh Dennis how I love you. Let me count the ways. ;) She eats out of my hand. She follows me around the yard while I work in the garden. And she lays the most beautiful greenish-blue eggs each day. Thank you, Miss Dennis! Thank you!

While Beck and Bret are in Ireland I decided to finish the decorating of their new, Provo condo. I think it turned out lovely and I'm excited to see if they love it as well.

Michael and the dentist

Michael had to go in to the surgical center this morning at 7:30am to have some dental work done. The anesthesiologist had me come into the surgery room with Michael still in his wheelchair. I helped hold him while he put the gas over his nose and mouth. He didn't like it but was fast asleep. They fixed two cavities with white fillings and then pulled 5!!! Baby teeth out. 4 that were quite loose and one that had a cyst above it in the gums where the permanent tooth and fang tooth with the cap were pushed together. He woke up a little nervous about where he was but by the time we left he was demanding food and drink. He did a great job and I finally got one (5) of his baby teeth to keep like the other kids.

Mother's Day

Noah wrote me a special note in church on Mother's Day. At the dinner table that night, each of us said what we loved about the moms at the table, Becky and I. Noah said the most endearing thing that was also written in his note. Choking back tears he said that he loved that "even tho mom has very little she always make sure that us kids have so much." I am so grateful for Noah and his thoughtfulness! And ability to be so aware of those around him. I am very blessed.

Noah broke his arm

I went to pick up Noah after school today. He plays soccer after school and when he got into the car he was very quiet. He was very upset and said he had tried to stop the soccer ball and now his arm hurt really bad. We went right to the dr and Noah was being so tough. Sure enough he had a "buckle fracture" of his right arm. Noah was more excited about missing the scout backpacking trip this weekend, what color cast he would get and how cool it will be to show it off tomorrow than worried about his arm being broken.

"I started saying "boss" and now all the boys in my class say "that's boss man."

I just up picked up Grace after school. She brought home an English test with a score of 19.5 out of 20. She said no ones ever gotten a 19.5 before and before I could tell her "Great Job" she informs me that she's taking the test again, she wants a perfect score. Reminds me of someone else I know... Uh hem, Aunt Carly!?
