He is growing up!!!

He's hanging out with his friends and prefers it over his family..for the most part. Not exclusively. Thank heavens! I went in to check on him the other night It was after midnight and his cell phone was in his hand but he'd fallen asleep. He had been texting a GIRL! Oh cookies! I don't know how I'll ever handle my Noah loving someone more than he loves me. Surely that will never happen. I'm counting on it.

I'm a Working Girl!
I've started a new job and while its been a lot of work and I've still got lots to learn, I really love it! I am so grateful how everything had come together in a way to allow good things to happen. It has definitely been a struggle to re-work our schedules, get use to much less sleep and hardly anytime at home and missing time with the kids while theyre home for the summer. That has been by far the hardest. It is a new chapter for our family and I think it will be a good one. Despite the changes I am very excited for this new opportunity. Very excited.

Michael is having his first experience with Mosquito Bites! My sweet boy doesn't know what to do with his itchiness. I have to admit, it Is awfully cute seeing him frustratingly scratch his arm.

Sweet Miss Dennis has been disappearing each morning. At first I was terrified she had been carried off by an evil cat. Then I suspected she may be "molting." Yesterday while working in the yard I realized she had created her own little nest away from her usual laying spot. I brought out 21!!!! eggs!
That silly goose.. I mean chicken.

Grace had a soccer tournament this weekend and she did AWESOME!! I was so proud of her!
Watching her games is my favorite thing! I was only able to attend her Friday night game because of work but one is better than none. We are all trying to adjust to Mama being at work all the time.

Michael is loving the water again!!!

We put a Fuschia colored strips in Grace's hair. I told her that I refused to color of permanently or to damage it in anyway. She loved the idea of a temporary color in it, however.
I tell Grace that her hair color is the inspiration for whoever wrote the story of "Rumplestilsken" cause her hair is the color of gold.
